Think Science …. Think Girls … Think Global Education

On 28th February, the IFGE welcomed participants to the IFGE Online Lunchtime Event Women and Girls in Science – Think Science …. Think Girls … Think Global Education.

We showed an interview with Liberian Youth Advocate Jamesetta Pinky Gibson about her path in science education in Liberia, heard from Kate Daminatu Hunder, Founder of the Liberian Girls Tech Club, who gave an input about science education for girls and women in Liberia. And Misean Cara’s Tom Carroll spoke about Misean Cara’s members empowering women and girls in science.

Afterwards, we invited our participants to collecting lessons learned from the inputs. These can now be accessed here:Women and Girls in Science IFGE Online Event 28 February – Lessons Learned

We also provide a recording of the event, including the interview with Jamesetta. If you missed it, check it out here: Women and Girls in Science IFGE Online Event 28 February – Recording.mp4

You’ll gain interesting insides into the realities that girls and women face in science and how to tackle them!
